Congratulations to Pianist - Mi Jin Park:
One of our extremely talented pianists, Mi Jin Park, has been accepted for the music performance degree at Auckland University commencing 2005. This is a particularly big achievement as Mi Jin will go straight to University from year 12 at college - a year early! On behalf of all the students and families I would like to extend our congratulations to Mi Jin.

End Of Year Sharing Sessions and Certificate Presentation:
During the last week of term, students that normally attend classes on the same day combine and demonstrate work covered this year. Certificates and reports will be presented to all the students. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and support the students. Students are asked to come tidily dressed in suitable dance attire with long hair tied back neatly (Level 5 and up in ballet bun please).

Re enrolments for 2005:
Please see the 2005 timetable on the other side of this notice. I am planning to offer Contemporary Dance and Jazz/ Hip Hop). I have decided not to run classes on Friday afternoons any more as this seems an inconvenient day for many of you. I have arranged to hire the Senior Citizens Hall (located next door but one beside the Tennis club) as well as our normal hall on a couple of afternoons so we will be able to have classes running simultaneously. The Senior Citizens Hall is a very nice space with a good wooden floor and will be ideal for dance.

Saturday Classes:
I have decided to run the second Level 1 Ballet class on Saturday mornings next year. Contemporary dance classes will move to Saturday mornings too and there will also be an open ballet class provided for keen ballet students working at Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced ballet levels.

Pre Enrolments for 2005:
Later in the term I will display sheets where you can pre enrol for 2005 classes. You will not need to pay fees till next year but this will ensure a space is held for you.

Christmas Wishes:
On behalf of all the tutors and accompanists I would like to extend our very best wishes to you all for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We all look forward to seeing you back dancing in 2005.

Marian
