End
of Year Newsletter 2002
Hello everyone
Show Congratulations:
Firstly I would like to congratulate you all on a wonderful show. I think
you'll all agree that the students danced beautifully and they can all
be very proud of their achievements. I was delighted with the standard
of performance and the level of enthusiasm shown. The show was certainly
quite a big undertaking this year but all the hard work was well worth
it. I believe that each and every student made a new discovery as part
of the show process and it was rewarding to see them all rise to the occasion.

"Golden Feather" and "Pictures
at an Exhibition" Photos:
Posed photos are on display
at the hall and orders need to be in by Thursday 5th December. Show photos
for this website are courtesy of Lesley and Charlotte Taylor. Thank you
very much for your hard work.
End of Year Demonstration/Certificate Presentation:
As in previous years we will mark the end of the year with special demonstration
sessions combining classes that normally attend class on the same day.
These sessions are a formal way of finishing the year and at the end of
the demonstration students will be presented with a report and a certificate.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend these sessions.
Students need to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time. Please could
all ballet students come very tidily dressed in leotard, tights or ankle
socks and ballet shoes? Please tie long neatly back in a ballet bun. Short
hair should be held back off the face with a headband. Contemporary Students
should also come dressed very tidily preferably in a leotard with suitable
leggings and socks and with hair tied back neatly.

Timetable for 2003:
To assist you all with planning for next year I attach a 2003 timetable
on the other side of this sheet. The timetable has become very comprehensive
and as a result you may find that your class day and time has changed
somehow. I hope you have sufficient time to organise things.
Cara's new baby:
Due to the expected arrival of her new baby in February, Cara will take
a much needed break from teaching at the beginning of the year. On behalf
of all the dance students, families and friends I would like to congratulate
Cara, Billy and Brianna and extend our very best wishes for the safe arrival
of their new baby.
Safe holidays:
I would also like to wish you all a safe and happy holiday and look forward
to seeing you all back dancing in 2003.
